१९४२:- पर्ल हार्बर हल्ल्यानंतर अमेरिकेचे अध्यक्ष रूझवेल्ट यांनी जपानी वंशाच्या अमेरिकन लोकांना ताब्यात घेण्याच्या आदेशावर स्वाक्षरी केली.

२००३:- केंद्रीयमंत्रिमंडळाने तंबाखूजन्य पदार्थांच्या जाहिरातींवर बंदी घालण्याचे विधेयक मंजूर केले.
