१६५९:- पहिला धनादेश हा ब्रिटिश बॅंकेतून काढण्यात आला,तो नॅशनल वेस्टमिन्स्टर बँकेत जपून ठेवण्यात आला आहे.

१७०४:- औरंगजेवणे राजगड किल्ला जिंकून त्याचे नाव नाबिशहागड असे ठेवले.

१९१८:- लिथुएनिया रशिया व जर्मनीनापासून स्वातंत्र्य जाहीर केले.

१९५९:- फिडेल कॅस्ट्रो क्युबाच्या आध्यक्षपदी रुजू झाले.

१९६०:- अमेरिका अनुपाणबुडी ट्रायटन ने पण्याखालून पृथ्वी प्रदक्षिणा करण्यास प्रस्ताव केले.

१८२२:- बोटांचे ठसे,रांगांधळेपणा आणि स्त्रियांच्या सौदर्य वर संशोधन करणारे सिर फ्रान्सिस गाल्टन यांचा जन्म.

१९९४:- जयपूर अत्रॉल्ली घराण्याचे गायक पं. नीवृत्ती बुआ सरनाईक यांचे निधन.{जन्म:-४ जुलै १९९२}.
